French violin of the school or surroundings of Remy from Mirecourt, made early 19th century, around 1830. The violin comes with an appraisal letter from its previous owner (see pictures), appraising the violin at €6000 - €8000. The violin has a nicely flamed two-piece maple back and ribs and a particularly fine-grained spruce table. The varnish of a brown color.
