All packages are shipped with insurance by default. We insure each shipment for the full value of the order unless the customer requests otherwise before the package is shipped. If you wish to insure your order for a different amount, please inform us during the checkout process or via email prior to dispatch.In the rare event that a package is damaged or lost during transit, we can file a claim with the courier’s insurance provider. Please note that reimbursement is subject to the courier’s policy terms and conditions and is not guaranteed. We typically use PostNL for shipping and insurance. For full details on their coverage, please consult their website or contact them directly. To date, we’ve never needed to submit a claim for damage — our packaging is extremely secure and reliable.
Important: The declared value communicated to the courier before shipping determines the maximum amount for which the package is insured. If this declared amount differs from the order value and is lower, only the declared amount will be covered in case of loss or damage.
