An interesting viola probably of Hungarian origin, stamped Saranszky Budapest and also possibly by Paul Saranszky. The viola has a nicely flamed one-piece maple back and ribs, a very fine-grained spruce table and a beautifully carved head. The varnish of a deep red color.
