German violin, early to mid 20th century

Old German violin made in the beginning to mid of the 20th century, around 1920. This is quite a handsome violin from the hand of a luthier who carefully crafted the instrument. The violin has a deeply flamed maple back and ribs and a very finely grained spruce table. The varnish of a brown color on a dark yellow base. Part of the table revarnished. This would be a rather expensive violin, but part of the table has been revarnished. This has been taken into account in the price. Nonetheless a very good sounding instrument.
