A viola, probably of Romanian origin, made in the last 30 years, labelled Josef A. Cermak 1944. This handsome viola comes from the hand of a luthier who carefully crafted the instrument. The viola has a nicely flamed maple back and ribs and a moderately fine-grained spruce table. The varnish of a warm orange color on a yellow base.
